The Cuckoo Brow Inn, Near Sawrey

My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms were spacious and clean, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The bunkbeds behind a partition wall were a great touch to ensure bedtime peace. The deep bath and fantastic shower added to the luxurious experience, although some furniture and the bathroom felt a bit outdated. The friendly staff really added to the homely feel of the place, making it a great stay overall.

The hotel was wonderful, offering a stunning room view that was perfect to chill out in and spend the evening. The décor was lovely, featuring a huge double bed, flat screen TV, and all the usual tea/coffee facilities. The service was exceptional, making us feel right at home with their friendly and attentive approach. The location was ideal, providing a peaceful setting within walking distance of key attractions. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with overpriced options but still of good quality. Overall, a great stay with some minor drawbacks.

I just had an amazing 2-day break at this lovely hotel set within an old world building. The rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious with good wardrobe space, quality bathroom, and an incredibly comfortable bed. However, I encountered some initial cleanliness issues upon arrival, which was a downside.

The hotel is perfect as a base for a group on a walking holiday, with informal, friendly service, great food, and comfortable, well-kept rooms. The rooms are excellent, featuring lovely king-size beds, modern decor, contemporary bathrooms with great showers, and spotlessly clean accommodations.
